Founded in 1966, the INSA of Rennes is part of the world renowned network of highly selective French “Grandes écoles”. It is ranked among the best engineering schools in France and has a high reputation in the field of information and communication technologies and the field of materials, structure and mechanics. INSA has notably 6 internationally renowned laboratories that allow high-level scientific research. The INSA of Rennes counts 1800 students and 150 Ph.D. candidates. 300 young people graduate from the school each year and 9000 graduates of the INSA Rennes work now all around the world.
