Founded in 1966, the INSA of Rennes is part of the world renowned network of highly selective French “Grandes écoles”. It is ranked among the best engineering schools in France and has a high reputation in the field of information and communication technologies and the field of materials, structure and mechanics. INSA has notably 6 internationally renowned laboratories that allow high-level scientific research. The INSA of Rennes counts 1800 students and 150 Ph.D. candidates. 300 young people graduate from the school each year and 9000 graduates of the INSA Rennes work now all around the world. The INSA of Rennes is highly focused on international as it has a network of 150 partner universities where its students have to spend at least one semester abroad. INSA Rennes has a strong experience in implementing double degree has is offers already 20 double degree programs with partners across 4 continents. INSA Rennes offers to its student courses in English and all staff of the university knows how to host international students. INSA Rennes is highly visible in the field of research as its coordinates 6 European projects of Research, with among them 3 Horizon 2020 projects. INSA Rennes works with Tbilisi State University since 2015 in the framework of the Erasmus + Funds and receives students from the Georgian University every year.
