Launching ceremony of the Master’s double degree program in Tourism and Cultural Heritage in Tbilisi State University – October 23, 2020

On October 23, 2020 Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State Universite (TSU) organized a launching ceremony of the Master’s double degree program in Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the French-Georgian University (FGU).

The event took place in the presence of the Rector of Tbilisi State University Mr. Giorgi Sharvashidze, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, the Ambassador of France in Georgia Mr. Diego Colas, other representatives of academic field, other guests and students of the program. This French-Georgian program is supported by the Tbilisi State University (TSU) and the Lumière Lyon II University. Drawing on French expertise in this field, it is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in the tourism sector by showcasing Georgia’s rich tangible and intangible cultural heritage. This new master’s degree is one of the first double degrees launched within the framework of the French-Georgian University (FGU).
