On May 26th 2018, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs M. Jean-Yves Le Drian and the Minister of Education Mikheil Chkhenkeli met in Tbilisi to sign the intergovernmental agreement on the French-Georgian University, making of this cooperation project a priority for the bilateral relations between France and Georgia.
